These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ApplyForge browser extension and associated cloud services (collectively, the "Service") operated by ApplyForge ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must uninstall the extension and stop using the Service.
2. Description of Service
ApplyForge is an AI-powered browser extension that helps job seekers create tailored application materials. The Service includes:
- Job Fit Score analysis
- AI-generated, job-specific CVs and cover letters
- AI-powered Q&A for application questions
- PDF document generation and download
The Service operates on LinkedIn job pages and requires an active internet connection.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You may not share, transfer, or sell your account to another person.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscription Plans & Payments
- Free Plan: Limited daily usage (3 fit checks, 1 CV generation, 1 cover letter, 3 AI answers per day).
- Basic Plan ($9.99/month or $107.99/year): 10 fit checks, 5 CV generations, 5 cover letters, 10 AI answers per day.
- Pro Plan ($24.99/month or $269.99/year): 25 fit checks, 15 CV generations, 15 cover letters, 25 AI answers per day with priority processing.
- Premium Plan ($49.99/month or $539.99/year): 50 fit checks, 30 CV generations, 30 cover letters, 50 AI answers per day with priority processing.
- Yearly plans include a 10% discount compared to monthly billing.
- Payments are processed securely via Paddle. We do not store your payment card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through the dashboard; access continues until the end of the billing period.

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension or backend.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the Service beyond its intended use.
- Share, redistribute, or resell generated content at scale for commercial purposes.
- Upload malicious content, malware, or intentionally harmful data.
- Impersonate another person or use the Service on behalf of someone without their consent.
6. Intellectual Property
- The Service, its code, design, and branding are owned by ApplyForge and protected by intellectual property laws.
- Your content: You retain ownership of the CV data you upload and the personal information you provide.
- Generated content: CVs, cover letters, and other AI-generated documents are created for your personal use. You own the output and may use it freely for job applications.
- We do not claim ownership of your generated documents.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
- Content generated by the Service is produced by AI and may contain inaccuracies.
- You are responsible for reviewing all generated materials before submitting them to employers.
- We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in job offers, interviews, or any specific outcome.
- The Service does not constitute career advice, legal advice, or professional consulting.
8. Data & Privacy
Your privacy matters. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key points:
- We never access your LinkedIn credentials.
- Your CV data is encrypted and stored securely on our servers.
- Our AI provider does not retain your data for model training.
9. Service Availability
- We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
- The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
- We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
- You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ApplyForge operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
